Loading Dock Extensions & Platforms

Client Goal

Give vehicles proper bumper contact when backing up to the dock, and give workers a safe platform to step from the rear of the truck.

Challenge

Custom fabrication had to be sized precisely to the existing dock and vehicle fleet, and installed in an active, operating facility without taking the dock out of service for long.

Approach

Had the dock extensions custom-fabricated complete with vehicle bumpers and grip-surface steel platforms, then installed them on site in the operating facility.

Outcome

Safer loading operations with proper vehicle contact at the dock and a secure platform for staff exiting the truck.
